For some years, Clear Channel has been pursuing an all-embracing CSR strategy focussing on transparency and continuity in the areas of people, planet, profit and public.
Fifteen key activities have been defined for the years to come, with longer-term projects being launched and individual measures implemented. These include a collaboration with a courier service provider – one of our contributions to the cause of resource-friendly mobility.
Every year, Clear Channel takes photos of its customers’ campaigns for them, amounting to around 3000 shots a year. This work used to be carried out by freelancers travelling by car. But since the beginning of the year, the photographers in Zurich have been out and about on their bikes, with Basel joining in this summer.
The Veloblitz courier service constantly adapts to the market environment and is expanding its services in the field of urban logistics. The collaboration with Clear Channel fits in with their courier work perfectly. With proven success in Zurich and Basel, the system can now be extended to other cities.
CSR reporting: Clear Channel Switzerland’s Corporate Social Responsibility report makes the company’s strategy, targets, measures and corporate responsibility transparent and accessible for all stakeholder groups. It is published annually and since 2018 (the 2017 financial year) it has complied with the “Core” version of the Global Reporting Initiative standards.
