Clear Channel is targeting the new opportunities in the digital out-of-home business even more effectively and ensuring the organization remains fit to meet the future requirements of its location partners and the advertising market.
Technology as a key factor for future success
The «Digital ahead» initiative aims to bring a sharper focus, greater pace and enhanced agility to the drive towards digital transformation. All teams involved in developing innovative digital solutions, evaluating data for strategic and tactical bidding and supporting digital development with regard to applications and IT infrastructure, have been assimilated in the Technology and Development business unit since 1 October 2019. This unit is investing in human resources.
- The «Digital Solutions» team led by Clem Albrecht is being expanded and is responsible for the evaluation, testing and implementation of innovative technologies for digital out-of-home.
- Employees currently working in various departments for Product Management and Business Analytics are to be amalgamated into a «Product & Data Analytics» team managed by Kathrin Petrow.
- The ongoing expansion will be continued in the «Business Applications» team led by Rouven Strebel and the «IT Infrastructure» team under Ersin Tuncay, with resultant investment in networks and the expansion of new systems.
Robert Furger, Chief Development & Technology Officer: «Our intention with ‘Digital ahead’ is to significantly pick up the pace of progress and provide innovative future-ready products and offers for agencies, advertisers and location partners.»
