In the bidding process initiated by the city of Zurich, Clear Channel has been awarded contracts for concessions that are a perfect fit for its portfolio, reinforce the company’s number one status in Zurich, and complement the existing VBZ offering.
Quality is a convincing argument.For several years now, Clear Channel has managed the poster sites on all hoardings in the city centre and other parts of Zurich. This successful partnership is to continue for the next five years. On average, there are some 25 wall hoardings at busy locations, each with from two to as many as eleven poster sites on offer. In addition, one concession for classic poster sites and one for rotating backlit columns are also being awarded to Clear Channel.
The city of Zurich has around 420 sites dedicated to arts events. These constitute about 23% of all the available sites. These will continue to be managed exclusively by Clear Channel.

Clear Channel is number one in Switzerland’s most important economic hub thanks to its exclusive marketing deal on some 1200 VBZ poster sites, the entire offering at Zurich Airport, the ten digital screens on public spaces and the wall hoardings in Zurich. The award of the Zurich concessions will further strengthen this position for the five years starting in mid-2018.
