Christoph Marty, at present CEO of Publicitas Schweiz, a leading advertising marketer with a cross-media portfolio in Switzerland and abroad, has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer of Clear Channel Switzerland.
He has in-depth knowledge of the Swiss media industry, a strong commercial profile and great experience in digital transformation – key factors for the further success of Clear Channel Switzerland.
Christoph Marty, 48 years old, joined Publicitas in 2013 as Sales Director Schweiz and was appointed CEO in 2014. During his tenure he transformed the business and repositioned it in a challenging market environment. From 2003 to 2013, he held various management positions at AZ Medien AG. Before joining AZ Medien AG, he worked for Tamedia AG from 1993 to 2003.

Christoph Marty will take over as CEO on 1 November 2016 at the latest. Stefan Lameire, interim CEO since April 2016, will return to his role as Chief Customer and Revenue Officer Clear Channel International but will remain at Clear Channel Switzerland as Chairman: «I intend to capitalise on the experience of the last months in this fantastic country and look forward to supporting Christoph and the Swiss leadership team at this key point in their digital expansion strategy.»
