The latest DOOH network will comprise 180 screens at Coop Pronto stores with service stations which record the highest customer frequencies in the whole of Switzerland.
This represents an extension of the successful partnership already enjoyed for a number of years by Coop Mineraloel AG and Clear Channel. The new Swiss-wide DOOH network will be operational from 13 July 2020 and can be booked immediately.
Attractive starting position
When people are intending to buy, they pay attention to advertising – and the nearer the moment of purchase gets, the more attention they pay. Almost half of all purchasing decisions are made spontaneously at the point of sale – that is to say, in a consumer-friendly environment. This applies more in the market for fast-moving consumer goods, but is also true for other products and brands. The concept behind the Coop Pronto stores is to meet the requirements of a customer base in search of convenience. It addresses the growing need for economy of time, long opening hours and an expansive and fresh product range.
Coop Mineraloel has 316 Coop Pronto stores throughout Switzerland with a total sales area of some 38,000 square metres. 246 of the shops have a service station. Last year, this comprehensive provision of convenience stores served around 128 million customers.

The new large-format digital out-of-home network at the entrances to the Coop Pronto stores offers advertisers defined target groups and guaranteed footfall figures based on actual transactions carried out in daily and weekly cycles. This is the perfect starting position for sales-oriented campaigns, which can be designed with great flexibility with regard to time, changes of subject matter or third-party data. It is also a first in a national Swiss network.
